3rd International Vice President Mark Lyon visits Lyons Hall primary School for vision screening with the Lions !
Today with Third International Vice President Lion Mark Lyon and his wife Lyn, we launched the Child Sight UK Vision Screening Project.
Screening in our first school – Lyons Hall Primary School in Braintree, Essex – We brought the Lyons to the Lyons to screen with Lions!
We screened 309 young people with 14 being recommended to see an optician as a matter of urgency – we also screened 34 staff with 5 being advised to have their vision checked by an optician.
Thanks to the vision and dedication of Past International Director Lion Phil Nathan we have managed to overcome many hurdles and obstacles to get the Lions Child Sight UK Project off the ground.
